xtra audio runs in modern web browsers. No software installation is required for the browser version.

Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Opera) provide the best experience. All browsers must support the Web Audio API.

- Network: 20 Mbit/s download, 5 Mbit/s upload
- Audio interface: Dedicated USB audio interface for studio use
Higher upload bandwidth is recommended when using live streaming or voice tracking.
Desktop App Requirements
The optional desktop app has the following system requirements:

The desktop app requires approximately 250 MB of disk space.
Network Requirements
xtra audio requires a stable internet connection.
Firewall Configuration
If operating behind a corporate firewall, ensure WebSocket connections (WSS) are allowed on port 443. The studio requires persistent WebSocket connections for real-time audio control.
Mobile Devices
The platform is optimized for desktop and laptop screens. Tablets in landscape mode provide a usable experience for monitoring and basic management tasks. Smartphones are not supported for studio operation.
