What are Sessions
Sessions are multi-track audio editors for arranging and mixing audio content. The Session Editor provides a timeline-based workspace where audio clips can be positioned, edited, and mixed.
Use Cases
Sessions serve two distinct purposes:
- Standalone Sessions: Create custom compositions by combining multiple audio tracks, recordings, and effects
- Rotation Sessions: Record voicetracks for rotation items with automatic context loading
Main Features
- Multiple audio tracks on a horizontal timeline
- Non-destructive editing (cropping, fades, volume adjustments)
- Voice track recording with microphone input
- Volume automation through envelope curves
- Mix-point calculation for transitions between rotation items
