Collaboration

The Studio supports multiple users working simultaneously. Collaborate in real-time during broadcasts.

User Presence

Active Studio users display in the top bar.

  • User avatars appear in a row
  • Hover over an avatar to see the username
  • Maximum display of 5 avatars; overflow shows a count badge

Presence updates in real-time as users join or leave.

Real-Time Synchronization

All Studio actions synchronize across connected users.

Synchronized elements:

  • Playback mode changes
  • Playlist modifications
  • Mixer adjustments
  • Transport controls (play, pause, skip)

When one user makes a change, all other users see it immediately.

Conflict Handling

Simultaneous actions from multiple users follow these rules:

  • Last action wins for instant controls (play, pause)
  • Concurrent edits merge when possible
  • Conflicting changes prompt for resolution

The system prioritizes broadcast continuity over individual user actions.

Speaker Connection

Join the broadcast as a live speaker with microphone input.

Connecting as Speaker

  1. Click the Speaker button in the top bar.
  2. Grant microphone permission if prompted.
  3. Select your input device.
  4. Click Connect.

Your audio channel appears in the mixer for all Studio users.

Input Device Selection

Choose which microphone to use.

  1. Click the device dropdown in the speaker panel.
  2. Select from available input devices.
  3. The selection applies immediately.

Test your audio level using the local peak meter before going live.

Mute Controls

Control your microphone state while connected.

Self-Mute

  1. Click the Mute button next to your speaker controls.
  2. Your icon shows muted state.
  3. Click again to unmute.

Self-muting stops your audio from broadcasting. Other users see your muted state.

Host Mute

Users with elevated permissions can mute other speakers.

  1. Open the Mixer tab.
  2. Locate the speaker's channel.
  3. Click the mute button.

Muted speakers see a notification. They cannot unmute themselves until the host removes the mute.

Chat

Communicate with other Studio users via text.

  1. Click the Chat button in the toolbar.
  2. The chat panel opens.
  3. Type messages and press Enter.

Chat is visible only to users in the Studio. Messages do not persist after closing the chat panel.

Activity Log

View recent actions by all users.

  1. Click the activity icon in the toolbar.
  2. A timeline of recent actions appears.
  3. Each entry shows user, action, and timestamp.

The activity log helps identify who made changes during the broadcast.

Collaboration features respect user permission levels.
