Playlist Queue
The playlist queue displays tracks scheduled for playback. Manage the queue to control what plays during the broadcast.
Queue Structure
The playlist shows items in playback order from top to bottom.
Each item displays:
- Track title and artist
- Duration
- Scheduled time (if applicable)
- Item type indicator
- Status icon
Item Status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Queued for playback |
| Playing | Currently on air |
| Played | Already broadcast |
Played items remain visible by default. Hide them via Studio Settings > Hide Played Items.
Item Types
The queue supports multiple item types:

| Media | Audio files from the Media Library |
| Voice Track | Pre-recorded announcements |
| Session | Multi-track audio sessions |
| Ad Trigger | Commercial break markers |
| External Source | Live feeds or remote streams |
Each type has a distinct icon for quick identification.
Adding Items
From Media Library
- Open the Media Library tab in Panel B.
- Browse or search for tracks.
- Drag a track to the desired position in the queue.
Alternatively, right-click a track and select Add to Queue.
From Search
- Click the search icon in the playlist toolbar.
- Enter a search term.
- Select a track from the results.
Reordering Items
Change the playback order by dragging items within the queue.
- Click and hold an item.
- Drag it to the new position.
- Release to drop.
Reordering is disabled for the currently playing item and items that have already played.
Removing Items
Remove items from the queue before they play.
- Hover over the item.
- Click the remove icon (X).
- Confirm removal if prompted.
Items currently playing cannot be removed directly. Use the skip function instead.
Playlist Tabs
When the schedule contains multiple playlists, tabs appear at the top of the queue area.
- Click a tab to switch between playlists
- The active playlist determines playback
- Inactive playlists show their upcoming content
Editing Cue Points
Adjust when a track starts or ends within the queue.
- Click the cue point icon on an item.
- Modify the intro, outro, or mix points.
- Click Save to apply changes.
Changes affect only this queue instance. Original media cue points remain unchanged.
Timing Information
Each item shows timing data:
- Scheduled: When the item should play per schedule
- Estimated: Calculated start time based on current playback
- Duration: Total play time
Timing adjusts dynamically as items are added, removed, or reordered.
