Media Library

The media library stores and organizes all audio files of a project. Files can be searched, previewed, and organized into playlists.

Supported Formats

The library accepts these audio and container formats:

  • mp3, mp2, wav, flac, ogg, webm, m4a, aac, opus, mp4, alac, wma

Files can be up to 1 GB. Larger uploads use presigned upload to transfer directly to storage. See Uploading Files for details.

Overview

The media library is shared across all stations within a project. Access it via Media Library in the project sidebar.

The interface uses a tab navigation with four sections:

Table View

The file table displays all media items with the following columns:

UploaderUser who uploaded the file
TTL DateExpiry date (if configured for the media type)

Click any column header to sort by that field. Click again to reverse the sort order.

The search bar above the table filters results as you type. Search matches against:

  • Title
  • Artist
  • Album
  • Genre
  • ISRC

Selecting Files

Select multiple files using:

  • Ctrl/Cmd + Click: Add individual files to selection
  • Shift + Click: Select a range of files

A selection bar appears at the top showing the count of selected items.

Bulk Actions

With multiple files selected, the selection bar provides these actions:

Context Menu

Right-click any file to open the context menu:

Tags and Custom Fields

Each media item supports free-form tags and custom field values for categorization and filtering. Custom fields are defined per project in the Fields tab. See Editing Media to set values and Media Types and Fields to configure fields.

Click a file title to open its detail page. The detail page shows all metadata, cue points, restrictions, and file versions. See Editing Media for the full editing interface.

Drag and Drop

Drag files from the table into the studio or other interfaces. Multiple selected files can be dragged together.
