Collaboration

The Studio supports multiple users working simultaneously. Collaborate in real-time during broadcasts.

User Presence

Active Studio users display in the top bar.

  • User avatars appear in a row
  • Hover over an avatar to see the username
  • A headphone indicator shows when a user has audio monitoring active
  • All connected users are visible

Presence updates in real-time as users join or leave.

Simultaneous Connections

Multiple users can view the Studio at the same time. Each connected user appears with their name and avatar.

The number of available Studio seats depends on the station plan. When the seat limit is reached, additional users cannot connect until a seat frees up.

Real-Time Synchronization

All Studio actions synchronize across connected users.

Synchronized elements:

  • Playback mode changes
  • Playlist modifications
  • Mixer adjustments
  • Transport controls (play, pause, skip)

When one user makes a change, all other users see it immediately.

Speaker Connection

Join the broadcast as a live speaker with microphone input using the Speaker module.

INFO

Livestreaming (speaker connection) requires the appropriate plan entitlement.

Only one user can hold an active speaker connection at a time. A second user must wait until the current speaker disconnects.

Connecting as Speaker

  1. Open the Mixer tab in Panel A
  2. Click the Connect Studio button (microphone icon)
  3. Grant microphone permission if prompted

The connection establishes immediately. Your audio channel appears in the mixer for all Studio users. Configure your input device in Studio Settings before connecting.

Disconnecting

Click the disconnect button (exit icon) next to your speaker fader in the mixer.

Mute Controls

Control your microphone state while connected.

  1. Click the Mute button on your speaker channel in the mixer
  2. Your icon shows muted state
  3. Click again to unmute

Self-muting stops your audio from broadcasting. Other users see your muted state.

Permissions

Collaboration features respect user permission levels. Configure permissions in Team Management.
