Timeline & Tracks
The Session Editor uses a horizontal timeline where audio tracks are arranged and edited. Each track occupies a row and can contain one or more audio clips.
Editing Modes
The toolbar provides four editing modes:
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Drag | Move clips by clicking and dragging (default) |
| Select | Marquee selection of multiple clips |
| Cut | Split clips at the cursor position |
| Slip | Shift audio content within a clip without moving the clip boundaries |

Moving Clips
Click and drag a clip to reposition it on the timeline. Clips snap to the edges of other clips and to the playhead position.
Cropping
Drag the crop handles at the left or right edge of a clip to trim the visible region. Cropping is non-destructive — the original audio remains available.
Multi-Clip Support
Each track row can contain multiple audio clips (created by cutting). Clips on the same row play sequentially and cannot overlap. To layer audio, place clips on separate track rows.
Selection
- Click: Select a single clip
- Shift+Click: Range select
- Ctrl/Cmd+Click: Toggle individual clip selection
- Marquee (Select Mode): Draw a rectangle to select multiple clips
